Nobody expects a social scientist to end up with their hands in someone else's energy field.

Social science is the world of data, research, studying human behavior though rational and evidence-based methods to understand a certain phenomenon. Energy healing is ancient, invisible and operates beyond what the rational mind. It knows no time and space and has been present in almost every civilisation on this planet. 

And yet here we are. 

The journey began where most social scientists begin. With people. With the relentless, fascinating, heartbreaking question of why do we do what we do - why we suffer, repeat and struggle to change even when every conscious part of us wants to.

The mind alone cannot fix what the body is holding. No framework, no analysis, no amount of insight based therapy can reach what is on the deeper level - in the nervous system, in the tissues, in the enrgy field that permeates every living being - in the soul. The social science background opened the door to the question. It just could not provide the answer. 

The answered came in the most unlikely way.

In 2016, I had the first energy healing session to help with my digestion issues. What happened in that session quietly dismantled years of academic certainty. Something shifted. Something that had no name in any research paper, no category in any social science textbook, and yet was completely, undeniably real.

What makes my work unusual is exactly what makes it powerful.

Most energy healers have no formal grounding in how human systems, behaviour and society function. Most social scientists would never dream of working with the human energy field. The combination of both — rigorous training in how people think and behave, layered with deep knowledge of polyvagal science and years of pranic healing practice — creates something rare. 

A healer who understands systems. A scientist who trusts what cannot yet be precisely measured. Someone who can sit in a boardroom and an energy field with equal confidence.

This is not a story about abandoning science for something mystical. It is a story about science being brave enough to admit it doesn't have all the answers — and following the evidence all the way to the edge of what it knows.

My healing studio rests in this space. Where polyvagal theory meets energy work. Where emotional healing meets belief work. Where the unexpected combination seems to be the right one.
